The SightCity 2026 is just around the corner and remains one of the most important trade fairs for assistive technologies, Braille solutions, and accessibility innovations for blind and visually impaired people, professionals, and companies in the industry.

From May 27 to 29, 2026, Kap Europa in Frankfurt am Main will once again become an international hub for innovation, exchange, and inclusive technologies.

What’s especially exciting: At the Help Tech booth 4I17, you can explore a range of new products – from new Braille solutions like myBraille – technology that adapts to you, not the other way around – to the mobile Activator and the Activator Pro with new macro functions.

In addition to many technological innovations, SightCity 2026 also introduces important organizational improvements that make visiting the exhibition easier than ever.

Organization & Navigation: What’s New in 2026

Entry

After registering, you will receive your ticket by email and present it at the entrance as a QR code – either on your smartphone or as a printout.

New: You can enter the exhibition directly afterwards – no additional check-in required. Just make sure to keep your ticket with you throughout your visit.

Navigation: Easier with QR Codes and Clear Booth Numbers

Navigation has been significantly improved.

QR codes are placed along the tactile guiding lines on the floor. Using the SightCity app, they provide instant information about your current location and nearby exhibitors – ensuring easy and accessible navigation.

Booth numbers have also been restructured and are now easier to understand. Example: 4I17

  • 4 = Level (floor at Kap Europa)

  • I = Area / direction within the floor

  • 17 = Booth number

More Experience: Talks, Gaming & Interactive Areas

The program has been expanded:

  • Better distributed presentations for a more relaxed atmosphere

  • Interactive areas such as the Gaming Lab

  • More offerings focused on mobility and physical activity

The focus is clearly on: experiencing, trying, and interacting.
